“Safe mode” sounds a little bit like a Windows driver issue thing, but the iPhone does also have one!
When I was playing around a little bit with it, after the upgrade to the 3.0 firmware and quit Skype, then it somewhat crashed. I saw the the dialog as the picture shows at the right hand side, but then, after relaunching the spingboard, everything worked fine.
For sure, I did I a reboot after that and noticed by the way, that one of the new 3.0 firmware improvements is the SIM-card-unlocking. It is so much faster, that I can not feel any delay, anymore.
This is an interesting post. I have an iPhone and this has not happened to me yet. Although I’d rather do bodybuilding exercises than to read the manual for my phone.
It happened just only once at me. But it is still interesting, that this is or was built in.
Cool post, just subscribed.
