I think not really, because money rules the internet. And I am sure you agree, you also want free content. The best way to get rid of them is use a ad blocker or a proxy filter. Try the Ad-Block Plus extension for your browser. It works well with Chrome and Firefox.

These scandalous ads need to be removed from the internet. They come up on all sites, even my daughter’s school homework website. Is there any internet authority where I can launch a complaint?

its a setting of the advertiser, to use fake pics. the advertiser is able to display real pics, but these nobody will have a look at ;-)
